Volunteer – Fundraising

Valiant volunteers dedicate many hours helping CORE fundraising efforts. The CORE Bingo Volunteers were recognized for their many years of service at the 2013 Annual General Meeting and presented with the Presidents Award in recognition or dedication to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities, for supporting the Association, and for volunteerism.

CORE’s bingo volunteers spend about four hours once every six weeks at Top Hat Bingo.  Sessions begin either at 11:30 a.m. or 4:30 p.m.  They walk the floor and sell bingo cards, collect money from bingo players and check winning card numbers.  Volunteers may have a complimentary meal during their shift.  You must be age 18 to assist at bingos.

If you would like to volunteer with bingo or other fundraising efforts, or if you have an idea to raise money for CORE, contact the executive assistant at 403.527.3302 ext 105.
